2006 Middle Level State Honors Conductors
 
The Wisconsin State Honors Music Project offers talented youth the opportunity to rehearse and perform with nationally-known conductors in a professional setting. Meet the 2006 conductors!
2006 Middle Level Honors Online Application
  Deadline is Midnight on Friday, Feb. 3, 2006.
To complete the online application process, you'll need your students' contact information, including email address, voice/instrument, audition date and location preference. Auditions take place Friday, April 7, at Kettle Morraine, La Crosse and Wausau and Saturday, April 8, at Eau Claire, Kaukauna and Fort Atkinson (Directions to Audition Locations). Invoice and $16 fee per audition must be mailed to the WSMA office.
WSMA Solo and Ensemble Resources
 
Access to Teacher Online Data Entry requires your WSMA school code (2) and password (wsmamember) via the Members Only section of the WSMA web site. An array of online resources, including the solo and ensemble rubric forms, will assist in students' festival preparation.
Music Festival List Corrections
 
For your reference, WSMA has provided a list of corrections for your WSMA Handbook.
2006-2007 Dues and Fees
 
The WSMA board recently approved dues and fees for 2006 -2007 WSMA activities.
2005-2006 WSMA Operating Budget
 
The WSMA board approved the budget amounts for this fiscal year.
Launchpad Competition
 
Launchpad is back and it's a great chance for you to connect with students beyond the music classroom! Help them discover their full music potential by supporting this one-of-a-kind music competition for high school students in bands formed outside of school. Launchpad is a program of the Wisconsin Foundation for School Music in partnership with the Wisconsin School Music Association and was developed to celebrate the reach of music education. Application deadline is February 20, 2006.
Wisconsin Center for Music Education Workshops
 
The Wisconsin Center for Music Education will be offering a variety of ongoing, innovative workshops and seminars for music teachers, students and the community. Information about the Center, including frequently asked questions, programming and online registration, is at www.wsmamusic.org/center.
