Inform students about the WSMA High School State Honors Music Project, a nationally known program of excellence. 

Make copies of the audition requirements for students, or encourage students to print their own copies when they register.

October 28 State Honors Jazz Ensemble Concert - Madison Monona Terrace Convention Center 11:30 a.m.
October 29 Middle Level State Honors Choir, Orchestra, Band Concert - Madison Marriott-West 1:00 p.m.
November 1

Registration online for the WSMA High School State Honors Music Project begins.
December 2 High School Honors online audition registration closes at 11:59 p.m. Wisconsin time. Late applications will not be accepted.
2012
January 20 Honors audition schedules will be posted online. The searchable database will allow users to find by individual name, or print out schedules for an entire school. Audition numbers will not appear online, but will be used at auditions to identify performers. Names or schools are not used.
February 4 Auditions in Appleton, Eau Claire and Waukesha.
February 11 Auditions in Middleton, La Crosse, Milwaukee and Stevens Point.
Late March Students receive audition results letter.
Late April High School State Honors Membership acceptance contracts and tuition payments are due to WSMA.
June 16 - 19 High School Honors Orchestra, Treble Choir and Jazz Ensemble Camp at UW - GB 
June 20 - 23 High School Honors Band and Mixed Choir Camp at UW - GB
